i need

i need help.

Everytime I go into a folder I get a "windows explorer" error. It says "windows explorer has encountered an error and needs to shut down" I get it everytime I open up a folder. If anyone can help me please help me because this is driving me insane.

the same thing happends to me. When i try to open a windows explorer folder, explorer restarts. I cant use control panel, my computer or anything. I happend right after i upgraded to windows vista. It works if i start up in safety mode. please help

Ths happens to me also and it started as soon as the system booted up on day one. Also my firewall has been disabled since day one also and its grayed out and cant change it back. I was running windows OneCare on xp and did not uninstall it before upgrading the dialog box said it wouldnt be a problem. Any help would be very appreciated its hard to preview the operating system if I cant access key components of the system.
